I'm getting close to replacing my OEM Dunlops on my 528iA w/SPP. I've been checking our Tire Rack and I'm intrigued by the Kumho's. I never heard of them before.. but they made mention in an issue of Roundel sometime last year alongside some yoko's and michelins. According to tirerack's "ratings" the ECSTA 712's? are grippy wet and dry, long lasting, comfy and quiet. I was just wondering if anyone here has ever tried them. I am looking for a good all around tire for comfort, but can handle some spirited driving like the Dunlops when needed. Thanks
Pete

you know, I've been set with the Bridgestone RE730 as my next set of tires until I heard about Kumho's from couple of people on the board. AK is one and can't remember the other guy he tracks his car.
I'm at 50/50 with Bridgestone RE 730's and Kumho Supra 712's. I'm leaning toward Kumho's since tires are replaceable... some people even have summer sets and winter sets :-)
Both tires received excellent ratings and the treads are similiar.
