Pictures of my car and snow (long) (archive)

I finally figured out how to post pictures on the board. These were taken over the winter. I have Kim Hem's clear front lights and have since added clear sides. My only other mods at this time are the UUC shifter and removal of the CDV. I am looking to add a CAI next. The color is Cosmos black with black interior.

My 540i

I am extremely happy with my 540 and have had only a few minor problems in the past year of ownership. My only bad experience was in the snowstorm last month where I left work too late and there was already 10" on the ground. It took me 3.5 hours to go 5 miles and there was no traffic. The Police had to help me three separate times and once their Crown Vic also got stuck. Thank God for cell phones!

Just as I made it to my street I got stuck again and one of my neighbors helped me out. Thier son is friends with my son and he snapped the following picture:

Stuck in Snow

I wound up parking it in a shopping center and getting a ride to my street by the police. Still had to make my way up my street on foot as it had not been plowed. Next year either I get snow tires or drive a winter car when it snows!!!

The SP2000E's are terrible in the snow and mine are just about worn on the rear as well.
