Not to rain on your parade, but a good friend who did the same with his 328i sport and regrets it. He says he feels every bump and pothole and can't go fast for fear of bending the rims. Also, be careful parking. You may notice that you will scrape the curb with your rims, not the rubber. I have 15 inch rims on my 528i and they are fine in NYC. If I were driving in Conn. I would switch to 17 inch, but not in the City. My $0.02.
