The Michelin TRX are almost impossible to find. One of our clients is a michelin dealer, and he said they are always on a long backorder if they have them at all. Suggested looking into the only alternative: Avon tires. Aslo consider switching to a more normal 15" wheel and saving yourself a lot of expensive hassle. Don't worry about keeping the car "original" as in actuality they TRX were optional in Europe, so if you retrofit to some other BMW wheels of the same era, you are keeping the faith.
I own a 1987 BMW 535i and would like to buy a set of 4 used Michelin TRX 200/60-390VR tires. Please contact me at anpereira@csi.com if you have at least 2 of the 4 tires - or hopefully all 4 - that I am looking for. At a reasonable price my need is immediate.
