Driver's School Wheels- cheap suggestions? (archive)

I'd like to get a new set of wheels/tires for use on my daily driver 540i, 17" for reasonable compfort. I'm after suggestions for relatively cheap wheels (<$200 ea) that can stand up to occassional (2-4/yr) autocross and driver's school use. For example, Borbet T's. Any thoughts? Any definete bad experiences with these 'sub-BBS' quality rims? I appreciate any feedback you have. Tires are most likely to be RE730's.
