Did your doctor tell you that the flap he creates when he cuts the eye never heals because the eye has very poor blood flow? That if you are in an accident this flap can become detached and then, if you are lucky, a cornea transplant will restore some sight to the eye?
I doubt if these facts are in his literature.
There are other problems also but this is the biggest one.
