I have a 98 528 (23k miles) with the felt-style outer door seals. They are all squeaking. What is the best fix and also what is the SB# for this fix.

My dealer says they cannot duplicate the problem and will not replace the seals.

clean felt with a damp cloth. clean rubber seals and apply Gummi Pheldge (bmw part) to rubber seals. Lightly brush felt seals with a clean toothbrush. Squeaks are now gone!
