I seem to remember some discrepancy a while back about whether you can adjust the roll-off on the earlier models, such as my 07/97.

Can anyone confirm or deny that?

You can bring your BMW DSP to any BMW dealer and they can adjust the system to not roll off at 40.

I plan to have this done in the near future and anyone who has upgraded their DSP should do so as well to get the missing frequencies.
