Anyone know how to make the ECU do a RPM limit instead of a MPH limit? Is this even possible??? On the S/C Cars this would be SO NICE as RedLine comes so quick, I would love to have something to go beep beep at a certain RPM limit so I know when I get close to RedLine!

Possible?

Scott

Since you asked....that's easy - get an automatic - it even shifts for you when you get to redline. ;-)

The ECU already has an RMP limiter - but they do not provide a beep - there is no method to provide an audible alert short of finding/building some external unit that could tap on the rpm output from the ecm to the cluster (and that may be a digital signal - I do not know)

I think the best way is to practice and get used to the sound of the engine to be your trigger to shift.

Cheers
