I have a stock 2001 540iA. The car is fast, but I really want to be able to pull up to a Lexus GS400 without the fear that he'll pull ahead. The Dinan supercharger kit seems a bit pricey, especially since the car is on a 3-year lease.

My question:
What are my options to shave time off my 0-60? I'd appreciate any comments on the best performance for your buck mods that can be done, as well as the more pricey options. Is there some sort of supercharger that I could just buy for around $5K that I could put in myself?
