You might want to look at the Yokahama AVS dB. They're much cheaper and much better...not only in treadwear but in traction...dry and wet. You may also refer to tirerack.com for these.


I am having the front tires on my 2000 540iA Sport replaced at 16,700 miles. The shoulder tread on the left front is gonners and almost gone on the right front. Rears are still fine. My question: Is this normal? At $247 per copy (Wheelworks), I'm getting one new tire and putting the spare on the other side.
