Mine's the same. Did you do a test drive before you bought the car. My MB was just the opposite; too much boost at all speeds. But you must admit it's great on the road.


I have a 2001 530i with stick, 3800 miles. Power steering has almost no boost at low end, making it difficult to park, do k-turns, even at 5-10 mph. Is anyone having this kind of problem with their new 530 or 540. Makes car feel like a small truck. Svce mgr. said some owners of new 3's were also complaining about low speed power steering boost.

I have asked that the BMW field rep drive the car on his next visit. My salesperson also wants to drive it.
