The third seat belt receptacle probably got tucked under the rear seat. You can remove the seat bottom by pulling up sharply on the bottom front edge of the rear seat behind the driver's and passenger's seats to release the rear seat bottom.

I have a 528iA with folding rear seats. My problem is I can't seat 3 people at the back because there are only 2 full seat belts available. There is a center seat belt but it shares the female plug-in with the rear driver seat. That means I can only use one or the other. How can this be fixed? Is there an upgrade solution available. What are the part numbers I should buy?
