How does the New 2001 PDC? (archive)

I picked up my wife's new 2001 525iTA last Friday in Munich and it had a switch next to the driver's side heated seats switch. I have a 2000 540iA and I didn't have a switch. I dropped it off before I could figure out how it worked...

I still have about 5 weeks until I see her car again...

Could someone enlighten me?
