the veins are meant to move air from the hub out of the rotor not to scoop air into the rotor. I know we have gone into this before. This is simple theory - air only moves one way - not reason to fight it. Look at ANY race car in the world - the veins inside the rotor move air out not in. Also, the way in which the holes are drilled often has nothing to do with the direction the veins go!
