Phone install - to do I reattach headliner (repost (archive)

I finally decided to get the CPT-8000 and do the self install. Of the four main installation steps (microphone, cradle, electronics box, antenna) I have had difficulty with the cradle install and the antenna. To install the phone cradle, you must pull out the tray with the sliding door. This took a full hour of pushing, pulling and swearing before it popped out. After that, no problems. (If anyone knows an easy way to get this part out, please let us know) As for the antenna install, I had no trouble pulling down the back edge of the headliner to access the coax cable, but now I cannot figure out how to put it back. Is there a tool that helps pull the back end of the headliner over the metal lip? Is there some technique I should know? (Did I destroy my headliner?)
