E34 540i 6spd only available in 1995.

Advantages:
(1) Bigger sunroof
(2) Bigger trunk
(3) More aggressively bolstered sport seats(??)
(4) Cheaper (make sure you get one with a
new Alusil engine block)

Disadvantages:
(1) Smaller motor (only 4 liter versus 4.4l)
(2) No VANOS (compared to '99 and up e39)
(3) OLD chassis design (more flex, more road
noise)
(4) Old body: noisier, less aerodynamic,
old styling
(5) Old suspension design
(6) Old electronics design
(7) Old ancilliary component design (A/C, radio,
power accessories, no Xenon, no steering
wheel controls, no automatic climate control
no rear shade package, no folding rear seats,
(8) Etc.

Save your money, eat hot dogs, get an e39.
