I know quite a few people in Chicago that haven't gotten tickets for years because of not having a front plate...then this summer they started to get hit up. They got pegged when they were parked on the street.

Then about a month ago I was crossing the street where there was a 4 way stop. There was a long line of cars going south, and a cop pulls up heading east. Some jacka$$ races around the the line of cars and blows through the stop sign at about 50 right in front of the cop...and the cop just sat there and didn't do anything about it. A woman crossed the street next to the cop car and said to the cop "That guy just totally blew off that stop sign, aren't you going to do something?!?" The cop just shrugged his shoulders and went on his merry way...no doubt in pursuit of donuts. He obviously was in no hurry, so one couldn't argue that he had a higher priority.

I keep my front plates on, just don't want to give them an excuse to pull me over.
