I'm just learning about the different engine components.

Is NOS hooked up to the air intake so that the gasonline mixed with the nitros oxide gas which produces a greater explosion in the cylinders? Then there is some sort of valve you turn on to get the extra boost?

Does anyone know anyone who has actually installed one of these systems? If so what were the results beside some occassional fits of laughter

Along those same lines, is there a pure oxygen system that would also improve engine combustion.

Not even thinking about doing this to my car, just curious
