Need Wavy Paint Fix Advice (archive)

Hi everyone any help greatly appreciated. I recently had a door ding fixed on my E39 which required re-painting of the passenger side door (The ding was large). Now when I view the paint from an angle the door finish appears slightly rippled or wavy unlike the other doors (Not orange peel). I know the body shop could have done a better job and probably did not prep the door correctly. Has anyone experienced this before and so how did you get it fixed? Wet sanding, Buffing? Do I need to get the door re-painted? Thanks in advance.
