I have a '99 528 with 45k miles and I noticed both yesterday and today that the needle would be initially in the middle of the temprature gauge and then it would start going toward the blue end of the gauge. I remember that Jim Cash said once that there is a temperature range within which the software would put the needle right smack in the middle of the gauge. Do you guys think that my thermostat is getting stuck in the open position? Should I make an appointment with the dealer?

Another point, yesterday when I turned the stereo on, I had no bass at all. I had to turn the radio off and then turned it back on before I could get some bass out of the system. Should I have the dealer check that also? I do have the DSP system.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
