Colin,

I have the DSP audio option... the so-called "premium" sound. (Ahem... OK right)

Maybe someone could answer if SPD VOL only comes with DSP?

Actually SDV only comes with the NON DSP units - they adjsut the entire vol range according to the veh speed.

The DSP systems have a similar feature - but the vol chnages only afect the lower frequencies - the ones that are most affected by the additional road noise at the higher speeds.

That is why people with NON DSP systems don't like to set the SDV too high - it raises all the frequencies and can be too much.
