How much SPAM does this board generate? (archive)

My email gets spammed so much from this board that it is frightening. This is still occuring from not including my email in the posts, but I'm a registered member with roadfly. There are programs that "harvest" email addresses from anywhere and everywhere possible on the web, I pressume that this is what happens here. On the otherhand, selling email lists is a VERY profitable business in the online marketing sector, possibly this is another way roadfly increases their revenue generation.

I've noticed that some posters include a 'remove this' part in their email address when posting, does this work? Intelligent software can be programmed to 'remove this' from email lists as well. Have you been getting ungodly amounts of spam? I use the spaminator and all that stuff but they still get thru the secuirity. Spamming has been elevated to higher end technology.

Just curious if I should remove all of my email addresses within roadfly. Another reason I would pay to become a real member on roadfly.
