Let me assure you that Roadfly does not and never has given away or sold email addresses for spam. My guess is that you are getting spam from somewhere other than this board. I personally post my email address in every single post I make on this board and all the other ones. I have done so since the very beginning of things back when it was bimmer.org in 1998. Over that time I've used at least 5 different email addresses depending on what car I had at the time and what "hat" I was wearing for the post (webmaster or not). I can count on one hand the number of spams I have received as a result of those email addresses being harvested. I get far more spam from places online where I have bought things--I sign up a unique email address with each and every site where I buy something so that I know where spam is coming from if I get it. Big online ecommerce sites don't do it so much any more, but as recently as even a few months ago it was very common for them to sell email addresses to spammers...which results in most of the spam I get today.
