Yes, I changed all the trim to black at once. I think as long as the trim around the windows is black, chrome atop the impact strips would be okay. I probably should have taken a picture of the combination, but it didn't cross my mind. As far as the Konis go, I haven't yet begun to experiment with the settings. The rears must be removed from the vehicle to be adjusted. I had my installation done by Wayne at A-1 Auto Body. Great guy. I told him to set the rears to about half firmness. I'll begin playing with the fronts tomorrow. It seems easy enough. Just pop on the knob and adjust it to your preference. I'll let you know how it goes!
