I like my BMW radio system (archive)

OK OK I know you might think I've lost it or I work for the company but I haven't and I don't. I see some griping on the board about the stereo system or radio and I just wanted to put some input into the pot.

I have the cassette up front and the BMW CD changer on a 530i. The stereo isn't the greatest in the world (not a Bose) but it is good. My never fades or drifts or gives me static on FM or AM. The controls are easy to manipulate and the cassette is a dream - absolutely perfect. I need to listen to product infor update tapes and I do it while driving.

The CD changer did seems expensive when I had the dealer install it but it has performed flawlessly; never skipping and obeying my every command.

If the system is lacking, it's obvious on the lack of bass response, but, it is enjoyable nonetheless.
