I know of what you speak as I have Barritz (dark) blue.

After rinsing car, use only the hose without any type of sprayer on the end and rinse down the car. Most of the water should roll right off. Then use P21S drying towel as mentioned by KenC. Those things are awesome. Do not wash in the sun.

I have found One Grand Blitz Wax to be about the best out there. I have also had success with California Water Blade if you can't get the water off the car fast enough.

A favorite site of mine for carcare is autopia-carcare.com. I follow instructions for "Quick Detail" religously for my car and my wifes Expedition. Nobody in the neighborhood understands how I can keep my cars so clean.

Hi, I recently Purchased a 2001 Black 525i, had it for about 1 month now, and washed it twice. However, with each wash their were still small water spots and the car had some dirt left on it. I know that maintance on a black car can be a pain in the ass, but It looks awesome when its clean. I decided to buy either a Ziano or Zymol car wash kit that includes all waxes, etc. and Some cotton Fieldcrest Cannon towels so that their aren't any small scratches left. Will these products do the job ? What do you all use ? Thanks,

Mike
