Short shifter ($170+2 hours), new shocks, exhaust, stereo upgrade.

I am just thinking these are things you use and enjoy almost all of the time, versus the HP stuff that only manifests at full throttle, redline blasts, which aren't that often.

Just my opinion.

On a 2.8L ??? Are you nuts!?!?!?!?

Typically gains on poorly engineered throttle bodies are about 5%-10%. BMWs have decent flow to begin with, so probably on the low end of that.

190 horse plus 5 percent = 198 horse for $600. That's $75/horsepower. Seems a bit pricey.

There are so many other mods for that same $$$ you could do that be enhance your driving experience.

Q: Has anyone installed a Dinan High Flow Trottle Body on there 528i? If so what did you think? Was it worth the $600 or so dollars as far as performance goes. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Thanks for your feedback. Any suggestions as to what you would do to increase performance with the same $600?
