...with no problems whatsoever. Have 'em on all four wheels.
Caveats:
- my style 5 wheels are a fairly 'closed' style so the Kleen Wheels aren't noticeable unless you're looking for them.
- I don't drive anywhere, or in a manner, that would tend to overheat brakes normally. ie: I'm not decending mountains while towing a trailer, I'm not racing the car, I'm never required to repeatedly haul the car down from high speeds in quick succesion.
They aren't perfect. I still get a little dust on the fronts - maybe about half what I used to get on the rears pre-Kleen Wheels, and the rears now much less - almost none.
What little dust I do get I wipe off dry with a terrycloth towel I keep in a box in the trunk.
What is there to do about it? What works best?
I have had people tel me all sorts of things like:
* putting a wax-like coating on them
* installing "kleen wheels"
* installing semi-metallic brake pads
* installing porcelin brake pads
* stepping up to the Brembo Big Brake Kit.
I can't afford the last, probably best solution! And I have concerns over each of the others. I hate having to detail my rims every 2-3 days (mainly the fronts)... what do you guys do? Just "suck it up" and "pay your dues" 2-3 times per week, or is there some magical secret that I could be enlightened with (Please!)
