Sport package 525s will have 2-piece 17" BBS style wheels. Does your car have these? If so, then the sport package may not have come with the 3 spoke wheel in '01 (I don't have the '01 brochure with me to check). I doubt you got ripped off, as there is really no way for that to happen. If you don't actually have the sport package and thought that you did buy the sport package, then you can really only blame yourself as you must not have read the window sticker, brochure or simply looked at the car. Furthermore, if you are so foggy about what constitutes a sport package on your car then perhaps it was not that important of an option. I am guessing that you do have the sport package, but it did not include the 3-spoke wheel in '01. No bigge. Swap one in. :)
