In addition to the items listed below, Brake Fluid Service (flush & replace) is due every 2 years beginning from the date of production, Engine Coolant Service is due every 3 years and Oxygen Sensor Replacement is required at 100,000 miles.

Here is the list I got with my 98 540i:


I have a '97 540/6 with 87K miles. It's time for Insp. II. At this point, I'd rather do as much of the maintenance myself as I can. What's required? I seem to remember someone posting the checklist, but I can't seem to find it.

Also - what preventive items would be recommended at this mileage?
