I had mine replaced on my 88 735i at an independent BMW shop and it cost me about $700.00.
They also replaced a couple of hoses.
They replaced it with a Jap. compressor that is suppose to be better.It worked great in 110 degree's all last summer.
Ray 88 735i 5 speed, with a new windsheild, today!
