Wandering 1988 735i (archive)

I have a 1988 735i SE (E32) and it seems to wander , not pull.
My local BMW dealer have adjusted the steering pre-load(whatever that is) and replaced th centre drag link arm , niether of these made ANY differenc...
Has anyone got any ideas...Please..
Could it be the REAR axle carrier bushes or free play in the steering box..

Help Please.
