Had mine done about 2 yrs/20k miles ago. Went with the BMW replacement parts. The new "insulators" are supposed to be made of a better material. Ordered m ine from Eurasian -cheaper thanb dealer. Did not use any sealant, no problems yet. Dinan sells a paper like gasket that you are supposed to sandwich BMW gasket between. Looks like American intrake gasket material (i.e. Mr Gasket, Felpro). Supposed last longer, but pretty expensive($200- $300). Don't have any experience with them. - Good luck.
