: Bill, thanks for the followup. I'll check with Honda; sounds like they might have the solution. Thanks again... Rick

: : Has anyone experienced and permanently corrected the mildew smell that occurs within the dashboards ac unit? The has me spraying OZIUM down the vents etc.... not a lasting solution at all. I've tried running the heater for extended intervals, doesn't seem to help. Durring the winter, when the AC is never used, it seems to go away. But once summer approaches, its back after using the AC just a coupl of times.

: Rick, try running the air in the winter,Chrsler has gone so far as to wire their a/c so that every time the defrost is on, the air is on. A friend who is a Chrysler tech told me that they do this specifically to avoid the problem you're having. Another idea would be to check with the local Honda dealer; they dealt with this problem some years back and I believe they developed a chemical to kill the bacteria which causes the smell. Hope this helps.
: Regards,

: Bill
