: I have a 1992 750il with a strong smell of gasoline in the interior. I've checked the hoses at the fuel tank outlet, the hoses at the fuel filters, looked at the fuel delivery lines from the tank to the fuel rails and am drawing a blank. Anyone had a similar prob.? Any other place I should look? Injectors don't seem to be leeking, and I can see no evidence of fuel on the engine when it is running.HELP.

At this age of the car, if you smell gas, it's time to replace *all* rubber hoses. This has come up MANY times in the past on the 7 series digest. The clamps are not likely to be the problem. Finding all the rubber can be a pain on the 750! The fuel system is under allot of pressure. As it's come up so often in vintage 750s, I wouldn't risk hacking the fix...

OBTW - did you check the hoses at the fuel pump ( in trunk, lift carpet - it's got an access panel ).
