: Has anyone changed out their pads on a 740i to allieviate the dust? I just got my 2000 740i Sport with the 18" M parallel wheels. These look really nice and although they are easy to wipe off this will get old.

: I use MetalMasters on my 89 525i and I love them. I'm thinking about doing the same on the 7'er but I'm wondering if it'll affect the 3yr/36,000 mile full service & warranty.

Technically, any non-BMW approved part voids the warranty for related components. The primary part affected by different pads is the brake rotor. It's a gamble. I've got the std. cross-spoked wheels on my '97. Yep, it's a real pain to keep them clean. One thing that helps is Zymol's wheel cleaner and wheel protector combination.
