: I just use any general purpose cleaner, Fantastic, 409, etc. Then protect with low gloss Armourall. I know a fair number of people think Armourall dries out the vinyl (everything but the seating surfaces is vinyl on the 740) causing it to crack but I've had good luck with it. I also wrote the company and they said the drying out business is an old wives tale (believe who you like). But use the low gloss version (hard to find sometimes) unless you like a real shine on your dash.

I've used p21 auto wash, diluted in a bucket of water and it works beautifully. It cleans the vinyl without drying it out and does not leave any film or residue when followed up with a damp towel for wiping it off. If you use Armorall, another trick is to dilute the regular stuff 50/50 with water.
