as a sports car. It just does not gell with the idea of being a sports car. Sorry guys. But a 450hp M7 is a bad idea in my opinion. It will just be beaten in every performance catergory by the M3 and M5. There would be no reason to even get one.

Depends on what you want the car to do...yes it would not be a tossable sharp-edged driving instrument, but it could be a magnificent, very fast, balanced cruiser. That is why these type of cars are modified with regularity in Europe. I am ain the process of re-creating my own 96 740il with an ESS supercharger and new suspension/tires, wheels/braking set-up. Should be good for about 400 HP, and while it won't be as fast as an M5, it will still get to 60 under 6 seconds, AND have a back seat as big as a living room!!
