84 733i break in! (archive)

I have a 84 BMW 733i recently broken into (lucky me)! The center console calculator, oops, computer was destroyed, the central locking fried out along with the indicator lights! Anyone know what wires from the central console computer do what?... or why bother breaking in to smash the car's computer and not steal anything?
