Thanks to everybody who replied to my earlier message of 9-21-00; "Changing Brakes". The info is very useful and I appreciate all the comments.

I also have the red Brake light in the right corner of dash lit up in red. This light is on when I re-start the car even before I apply the brakes (I haven't changed the pads yet).

Will it autimatically go off when I install the new pads? If not, what am I supposed to do to get it to go off?
