i have a '01 740 sport and about the only problem i have had with it is the range on the garage door opener. i need to pull up to within 3 feet of the garage door for the signal to trigger it to open. anyone else with this problem or know of a fix?

Had the same problem with my '97, although not to three feet but much less than the factory opener. I solved it by hanging a longer antenna wire on the door opener's receiver.
