I have the exact same problem. In past three months it happened twice. Once it happened after I set the car to automatically ventilate one hot afternoon and the alarm went off a little after the car started up the fans but I don't know if that's related. The last time it just happened on its own. After locking the car the alarm went of as I walked away. Turned it off and it went off again as I was walking away again.

I'd appreciate any feedback as well. Thanks

If its not the motion sensor, have someone check the sensors on the windows, especially the rear door vent windows. i had this same stupid problem about 2 years ago.
