Alarm will go off every now and then for no reason. Just happens every now and then.


I too have had this problem on my 95 740I. Believe it or not I have traced the problem to leaving my Nokia cell phone turned on inside the car. As these phones are "communicating" with the cell system even when you're not actually talking, I believe that the radio signals somehow interact with the alarm. I'm sure there are other causes, but I have never had the alarm trip when the phone had not been left inside. Hope this helps.
