It can be the motion sensor or the car battery.
The problem happens to my 98' a few months back,
I brought it to the dealer, they recharge the
battery and the problem goes away. They said that
the alarm monitors the current and the voltage of
the battery and if it falls below a certain point,
the alarm will sound.
