I just don't get the 'wheels crammed up under the fender' thing. It's gotta ride like a brick. I guess it's cool if you're Tupac or Notorious B.I.G or maybe even Kid Rock.

Christ, I'm getting old fast.

The whole idea of upgrading your rims and tires is not just for cosmetics. The reason MOST enthusiast upgrade is to improve the car all around. That means cosmetics AND performance. It really seems your setup is just going to give you the same exact ride you had before. That means no hard cornering, limited hi speed control, and no accurate feel of the road. The jist of it is that when you "lower" a car and eliminate the wheel well gap, you gain a real respect of what these cars are capable of. The superb handling, the outstanding control, the aggressive look, and the the greatest feel of the road. Yeah, we sacrafice the super cushiony ride for one alittle less padded. And believe it or not, the ride isn't nearly as bad as you may want beleive. This is what ENTHUSIASTS strive and live for. We want to take the car to the next level, not look like rap or rock stars! If you knew anything about German motoring, you would know that this "look" was developed by all those German tuners. Neither Tupac, Biggie or Kid Rock is german. Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, you name it.. they all have tuners that transform these cars into exactly what I talk about. These cars are bought by people mostly of the 50+ age set. As a matter of fact, the makers of the rims your so proud of (Breyton), has a few cars with the "crammed" wheels on their website! You drive a well crafted and beautiful machine, why not see what it was really made to do? Take the blinders off and widen your field of vision.
