I checked into the ventilation system but I didn't find anything related to the windows opening.

While its possible that I may be pressing the button for too long, I don't think that would account for more than one or two occurences of the problem. As a rule, I press the button fairly quickly.

The timing fault problem seems to be the most probable answer at this point. I have a service appointment on Tuesday (Some dumb!#$ stripped the threads on one of the front hubs when putting on the wheel!) and I would like for them to take a look at it. Do you know if this is something they can reprogram? I would assume it is.
