Childish insults aside, you were using the
3 series and 5 series in context to an argument
about the 7 series. I'm sorry to say but if
you're one who likes to buy stock and make
performance upgrades, the 7 series is not the
best choice. The long wheelbase and curb weight
are not worth making major upgrades. It's the
reason there is no BMW M7. Because it's
ridiculous just like your argument.

Ridiculous...don't forget that the 7 series is
an executive sedan...comparing it to the
M3 and M5 scorchers is ludicrous.

If you weren't really shallow, you would understand that I'm not comparing the 7 to the m3 or m5. What I'm trying to point out is that the upgrades form stock to higher performance isn't a waste. Even though the 7 is a so-called "executive" sedan, it still has 300 stock HP and a gear ratio that propels it quicker that most cars half its weight and size! Sometimes the obvious just isn't to some people I guess.

Once again, you missed the initial point. It wasn't about specs and such. It was about having a car and making it that much better. No more time to waste.
