uncomfortable sport seat lumbar support 2001 740s (archive)

I have been unable to completely deflate the lumbar support and neither can the dealer. I find the support too firm and really annoying and have to continously vary the setting from top to bottom and then increase the pressure and then try to decrease it all the way which still doesn't work. My impression is that it is impossible to deflate the support completely. the passenger seat is like that also.Anyone else, or is it just my 62 year old back? It's really annoying.
