Please give me a hand.....

Does anyone have experience replacing a front turn signal indicator bulb on a E38? Themanual recommends loosening the holding screw and removing the light housing. Well, the screw was loosened and the light remains securely in place.....

Thanks.

I HAD A A LOT OF PROBLEMS CHANGING THE BULBS.AS YOU TAKE THE LIGHT COVER OFF YOU HAVE THE BULB.I GOT THE BULB OUT OK BUT HAD A HARD TIME GETTING IT IN BECAUSE THE BULD WAS DIFFERENT TO THE OLD BULB.I GOT IT IN BY FORCING IT IN.ITS FINE NOW.WORKS GREAT.TO GET THE BULB COVER OFF TAKE THE SCREW OUT A I PUT A SCREWDRIVER AT THE SIDE IF THE BULB COVER.THE BULB COVER HAS A RUBBER GOING ALONG IT TO PROTECT IT.I PUT THE SCREWDRIVER IN THAT AND PUSHED IT OUT AND THE LIGHT COVER CAME OUT.YOU JUST NEED TO PULL THE COVER OFF BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN ON THE CAR FOR A LONG TIME.HOPE THIS HELPS
DAN

Like i said the cover should slide out but you need to start if off by pulling it out using a screwdriver or something
